About the Portraits |
Each portrait is drawn from a photo of your beloved pet. The portraits are created on an ipad and are drawn with an ipencil. The ipencil is completely intuitive and precise, reacting to pressure and angle exactly as you would expect a traditional pencil - its just a bit easier to rub out mistakes!
Many hours go into each drawing, over several days. Each drawing will take 5+ hours to complete, but if I find myself overworking the drawing or losing the character of your pet, I'll stop and return to it the next day with fresh eyes.
The completed drawings are then sent to an incredible print company to be Giclee printed onto highest archival quality Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Ultra Smooth 305gsm paper.

My name is Fiona Anderson and I am a digital artist based in Aberdeen, Scotland.
I graduated from Gray's School of Art, Aberdeen in 1996 with a BA in Design and Craft. Since 2018 I have run my own business, Vamped Tees - where I hand embroider my own designs onto organic t-shirts and vintage army jackets.
But drawing has always been my thing. Its all I ever did as a kid!
Late 2019 I began working on pet portraits, building my confidence and developing my style. Since then I have drawn hundreds of pets!! I have a modern unique style that I think is just a wee bit cooler and edgier than what is currently out there. I hope you like it!
